Art History; we were to choose a style of art from either China, Japan, Africa or the Americas. I chose a mix between the Muromachi and Edo Japanese woodblock style print. The dimensions are that of a typical vertical woodblock print, and the subject is of a Japanese folklore demon, itsumaden.
I used photoshop and the available brushes in order to mimic the clean, precise lines and more organic brush strokes used. I also added texture to imitate the 'feel' of woodblock print paper.
