I did these in the 10 - 15 minutes it took while waiting to get into the courtroom. I was in a group that had to go through the jury selection process, so we actually ended up in the courtroom and raising our right hands and saying "I promise not to lie under oath so help me god" or something. lol

Anyway, I was looking around at the other jury selectees (?), and trying to discreetly draw them. The old women with dogs are people I saw while driving on the way to the court.

The woman in the middle-- I saw this skinny old woman standing on the corner of a sidewalk, not waiting for cars to go so she could cross, but she was just standing there. I was at a redlight so I could observe her for a short while, but she was talking, and gesturing, looking down at her german shepard pup every few seconds like she was talking to it, and expecting an answer in return. The dog looked back up at her at appropriate times, like he was saying something back.

I've been trying to capture that in a quick cartoony moment, but I still haven't got it down yet. Still trying, though!
